Computer Science, Electrical Circuits and Art with Makey Makey

We have been learning about electrical circuits by using Makey Makey computer chips. The Makey Makey works by replacing the keyboard with anything that can conduct electricity. We have experimented by connecting playdough, fruit and vegetables and aluminium foil to the Makey Makey to conduct electricity. Students have used this knowledge, and their knowledge of Scratch coding to make flowers that sing, computers that talk and cardboard guitars that really work and a giraffe that screams when it gets scared!
