After doing a lot of work with Scratch we have started using another coding program called Blockly. This program has been really useful because it can be used to program robots and drones. We have started using Blockly to program our class robot, Dash. Some of the problem solving tasks we have done are coding Dash to play happy birthday on a xylophone and coding Dash to help us pack up unifix blocks. We are still learning about all the possibilities for using Dash and Blockly coding in the classroom.
